He chases an old tale, told by his passed-away mother, about a winged girl in the sky. One day, he gets stranded on an island, where he meets the somewhat strange and clumsy girl Misuzu Kamio, and with the permission of her mom, Haruko, Yukito can stay at her home for the time being. A bit later on (all in the first episode), he meets the girls Kano, Minagi, and Michiru, all with different personalities. While being together with the four girls, he chases the told tale, and solves the individual stories of the four girls doing so. All of their stories seem to have a connection to the winged girl, and he decides to stay on the island. While the first episodes of 'Air' can be rather funny, the later episodes show dramatic and paranormal stories, which can be very confusing, even after watching the whole series. However, she's the reincarnated human form of an angel that once lived a long time ago, constantly dreaming of her other self, aspiring to fly high into the sky as her former self had long ago. She lives with her aunt, whom she sees as her mother. Their relationship is a bit shaky, seeing that her illness prevents her from being close to anyone. Whenever she cares about someone, loves someone, an unbearable pain overcomes her, her dreams making her weaker and weaker until one day, she will die. However, she always does her best, even when she's alone, smiling and continuing to live. Whenever she's troubled, she says her favorite phrase "Gaou.." which is like "Grrr.." in Japanese (when she was little, she thought chicks became dinosaurs). When she meets Kunisaki Yukito, she immediately wants to be his friend. Her goal is to ha is to have a wonderful summer with him, and falls in love with him. Even though she knows it's painful to love him, she'd rather face the physical pain rather than the emotional pain. There is more romance in the movie than in the series. Through trials and tear-filled adventures, confronting her feelings, dreams, and reality of her mother, she ends her life, happily, knowing she gave it her all. Haruko Kamio Chiar daca Misuzu o cheama mama ei,ea este de fapt matusa ei,sora mai mare a adevaratei mame ale lui Misuzu.Cand sora ei a murit,ea a fost fortata sa o adopte pe Misuzu la o varsta mica.Chiar daca spune ca nu-i prea pasa de Misuzu,ea incearca foarte tare sa isi indeplineasca rolul de mama. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michiru Ea pare sa existe dar de fapt este o parte dintr-un vis.Este sora mai mica a lui Minagi.Ii place sa manance si sa se joace.Ii place sa sparga baloane impreuna cu Minagi si tot momentul se cearta cu Yukito. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Minagi Tohno Inalta,frumoasa si desteapta,Minagi iubeste astronomia,Minagi Tohno pare o fata perfecta.In ochii mamei sale,ea traieste viata in trunchiul surori ele mai mici decedate,Michiru. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Potato Potato este extraordinar de curios si se intelege cel mai bine cu Kirishima Kano. Lui Potato ii plac foarte mult teatrele cu papusi ale lui Yukito,si crede tot ce spune acesta. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
